Thousands of photo booths and photo laboratories worldwide will run with this software from March onwards.

October 2007 XTRA to Localize 14-Country Online Survey on IT Outsourcing In close collaboration with an international team of agencies, XTRA has provided localization and testing for an online marketing research survey hosted on InsightExpress. Languages involved were German, French, Italian, Latin-American (Mexican) Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Korean. September 2007 XTRA to Localize Flash Application on Mobile Phones into 20 European Languages Quality and speed--this was our commitment which prompted a leading manufacturer of mobile phones to choose XTRA for the first time. XTRA was charged with localizing a Flash application promoting the music features of its newest generation of mobile phones. We kept our promise: all twenty languages went live within just 10 days.
June 2007 XTRA to Localize Training Courseware for Hewlett-Packard ("HP") into 16 European Languages HP relied on XTRA to localize a comprehensive web-based training (WBT) from English into German and fifteen other European languages. XTRA's tasks in this challenging project included not only the localization of the course content, but also managing in-country reviews and approval by HP--all within a four-week timeline.
March 2007 XTRA to Localize Ecomagination Website for General Electric ("GE") into 5 European and Asian Languages XTRA has just completed the localization of GE's Ecomagination website (www.ecomagination.com)--a website developed in Adobe Flash that is dedicated to GE's commitment to protect the environment. Tasks in this assignment included translation and in-context review of screen and video content for all site languages (German, French, Hindi, Japanese and Simplified Chinese).

April 2006 XTRA Provides Translation Services for Global Health Campaign On World Health Day, April 7, 2006, GE Healthcare launches the "Picture a Healthy World" campaign in the heart of New York City as the kickoff for a global initiative to promote early health. With chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer on the rise, the campaign aims to reinforce the approach of Early Health as something everyone can participate in. By sharing your photo, your lifestyle and how you stay healthy, the Web-based campaign is a viral experience expected to attract tens of thousands to participate. To reach a global audience, websites are going to be launched in several languages - all localized by XTRA.
March 2006 XTRA Best Rated Vendor in Multi-Thousand Page Bid The bid involves the translation of specifications of several ten thousand pages from German into English. The documents are to be used by an international team of software architects, developers and programmers during the development of comprehensive retail application. Out of half a dozen suppliers evaluated, XTRA was rated best vendor ("1+") in terms of translation quality and number in price (only outrivaled by an offshore vendor). Based on the results of the evaluation, the client intends to place substantial work with XTRA over the next months.
February 2006 XTRA Makes It to Final Round of RFP for Localization of Encryption Solutions XTRA participated in a Request for Quotation of a leading manufacturer of encryption and digital-signature solutions who invited select translation companies to participate. While the final choice is still to be made, XTRA is proud of the intermediary result: "We are pleased to inform you that your proposal has qualified as one of the three proposals that made it to the final round of selection. Of more than a dozen vendors who participated in the bidding, only three companies including yourself qualified for the final cut".

December 2005 XTRA Provides Turnkey Website Solution to Swiss Private Wealth Management Company Invest-Partners AG (www.invest-partners.ch), a leading Zurich-based Private Wealth Management consulting firm, asked XTRA and their Japanese partner Webproject.jp to offer a turnkey solution for re-launching the company's .ch and .jp websites in English, German and Japanese. Except for the provision of content and review, the client decided to completely outsource the entire project from design to site implementation.
November 2005 XTRA Localizes Flight Booking System for Low-Cost Carrier Hapag-Lloyd Express, a 100% subsidiary of TUI AG, the largest travel and tourist company in the world, relied on XTRA's expertise to offer their clients the possibility to select from seven different languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, and Croatian) when booking flights through the Internet.
October 2005 XTRA to Localize WBT Courses for Hewlett-Packard The project successfully completed in October included the localization of Web-Based Trainings (WBTs) from English into German. XTRA's responsibility was to translate the content provided in MS-Access databases and perform the QA of the localized WBTs. XTRA reported the QA results to the contractor in charge of implementing the WBTs and tracked the issues until resolution.
September 2005 XTRA and Leading Web Agency Launch Marketing Campaign 21TORR, a leading digital media agency, and XTRA jointly launch a so-called "Double-Happiness" campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to propose an outsourcing alternative for the simultaneous international roll-out of web campaigns for companies that operate internationally. August 2005 XTRA Provides Translation and Linguistic QA for GE Switzerland Website General Electric, ranked number 5 in the 2005 list of America's largest companies, relied on XTRA's localization expertise to relaunch the company's website for Switzerland. Tasks included review and adaptation of the German-language content and translation of the entire site content into French and Italian.
July 2005 XTRA Chosen as Worldwide Supplier for Localization of Print Management Solution XTRA is proud to announce that it has been awarded a contract for localizing a multi-platform output management solution by one of its long-standing clients. The contract covers localization of the graphical user interface, translation of related documentation, internationalization testing, test case design and language verification testing of the GUI using different browsers and platforms. The contract stipulates simultaneous worldwide release and covers German, French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian, Japanese and Chinese versions.
June 2005 Localization of Web Specials for Leading Manufacturer of Mobile Phones To promote sales for the company's latest generation of mobile phones, Siemens Mobile (siemens-mobile.com), one of the leading mobile phone manufacturers, relied on XTRA's Web translation expertise to localize sophisticated XML-based Flash applications. After successful completion of one pilot language, the project has been extended to seven languages in a second step.

May 2007 HBOS First Client to Make Use of XTRA/net Self-Service Portal "In view of limited internal resources, how can we quickly effectively manage translation requests from our internal clients with maximum flexibility and control?" This was a question we were asked by our client HBOS. Nice challenge! 14 days later, we implemented a browser-based solution consisting of a self-service translation portal developed and hosted by XTRA. From now on, internal HBOS clients will use the translation portal to request translation services. January 2007 XTRA Becomes Translation Partner of SAP for English to German Following an in-depth review of XTRA's translation processes and capabilities including a full-day onsite assessment at XTRA's offices in Böblingen, SAP decided to accept XTRA as a new SAP Translation Partner for English to German translations. Both parties agreed they hope this would be the beginning of a long-term business relationship.
February 2006 XTRA Hires New German Translator After successfully completing a three-month trainee program, XTRA decided to offer the trainee a full-time position. The new staff member brings in experience in the medical and IT fields. XTRA now employs 15 full-time employees in its Böblingen office, mostly dedicated to English to German translation and localization projects, multilingual project management and quality assurance.
October 2005 XTRA Hires Full-Time Staff for the Development of XTRA/net In order to accelerate the release of version 1.0 of its web-based project management solution XTRA/net, XTRA raised the budget assigned to software development and hired a full-time software engineer. Version 1.0 is expected to contain comprehensive workflow functionalities. In a first step, it is intended to be shared with partners and clients in the 2nd half of 2006.

January 2005 XTRA Reports 11% Increase in Revenue 2004 saw an 11% increase in revenue over 2003. The increase was due to business expansion with long-term IT clients. Unlike many competitors, XTRA was not affected by price erosion. Says XTRA's Managing Director Stefan Lampert: "Our business model involving operation from one central office, minimal sales and marketing costs, and delivery of service solutions of outstanding quality allows us to be highly competitive without compromising profitability".

April 2004 XTRA to Launch New Website Three years after the last relaunch, XTRA's new website goes live. Visitors will be able to select their location/language to view part of their preferred locale. Among the new features of the website is a Books section.
January 2004 XTRA Reports 17% Increase in Sales For 2003 Despite a difficult economic climate in the high-tech industry in 2003, the company reports a 17% increase in sales versus 2002 (2002 vs. 2001: 18%). In view of renewed and new contracts signed early in 2004, XTRA's Managing Director Stefan Lampert is optimistic that it will be possible to "continue this trend and reach the company's long-term growth target of 20% per year in 2004."
